TPEA Member Benefits Information

Please take a moment to review the TPEA member benefits below. TPEA has partnered with Association Member Benefits Advisors (AMBA) to bring supplemental benefits to members of TPEA. These benefits help fill in gaps often left by traditional coverage so they are an important part of your overall financial picture. Depending on your circumstances, these benefits may have advantages that fit your needs better than available state benefits. So, take a second to review the most popular benefits below. You can verify your TPEA membership here and all non-members can join TPEA here.

Visit any Dentist - Dental Insurance

The TPEA plan rewards members for loyalty by providing benefits similar to the state plan in year one and enhanced benefits thereafter.

  • Visit any dentist with no out of network penalty! Many other plans have a ‘double’ penalty when you go out of network – a lower percentage paid AND a lower amount that percentage is applied to.
  • Get rewarded! The annual benefit maximum of $1,250 can grow by $250 per year to an absolute maximum of $2,250. This helps solve the ‘use it or lose it’ penalty of many other plans and gives you more benefit for major procedures in the future!
  • Adult Orthodontia! Many plans limit orthodontic work to children. The TPEA plan provides adult orthodontic work after the first year of coverage!
  • Enhanced Benefits after twelve months! Coverage amounts increase significantly.

Lenses, including progressive lenses, are covered every year, and new frames are covered every other year. The vision plan has no waiting period so you can begin saving today!
